My Master's thesis was completed in 1999 and officially submitted in early 2000. The paper examines and compares the roles of Japan and Australia in the Cambodian Peace Process and looks at how these roles subsequently influenced foreign policy in each country. A high distinction was awarded for the thesis. In the original Japanese the paper is entitled カンボジア和平プロセスにおける日本とオーストラリアの役割の比較研究. In English the title is ‘The Roles of Japan and Australia in the Cambodian Peace Process and the Subsequent Influence on Foreign Policy.’  There is no English translation at this stage.
